Being a freshman student in an institution is very hard especially when there are only few people to whom you know with. It is not that easy to move on from your high school life and adapt with your new classmates, teacher and environment as well. It very hard for me to do so because the things that come into my mind when we say "College Life" are more pressured life, more difficult problems and most especially more terror professors. But as time goes by, I've learned to move on, adapt and love my new environment and its members.
My life on first semester was very enjoyable and memorable. It all started in the enrollment time. When enrollment days started, I was very ignorant and I don't no what to do. Where to register? Where to get forms? What to do with the forms? Where to pass the forms? Many questions to be answered. All thanks to S. Precy because she's the one who assist me in the enrollment. hehehe. Funny thing but its true. There are also many changes that happened in my life. My first semester life gave me a chance to improve my skills and as well as my attitude. I met many hardships and difficulties that a student must face and I conquered it all that's what makes me feel fulfilled. I also met new friend with different attitudes but even though we have different characteristics, I can say that we are bonded together. My first semester life make me reminisce in time when I was also a freshman in high school. It is very funny to recall that time because just like in the enrollment time, I also bothered with the step by step process. It makes me sick. hahahaha . I thought it would be much harder taking up college but i was wrong. I'd realized that it is just easy if I put my mind and heart in focusing with my studies. I felt contentment in my first semester life because for the first time I got very good grades that makes me proud of.
Many things happened in my life in my first encounter with college life. Most of it have influenced my life a lot because it made my personality stronger even though there are times that I felt like I'm gonna give up with difficult problems and challenges. I learned many things and serve as an inspiration for me to do better until the better becomes best. I realized that being in college is not that bad, you can make it worthwhile if you will cherish all your ups and downs and face bravely all the challenges and trials that may come to your way. Hold on and never give up because winners never quit and quitters never win. Ask on God's guidance and be faithful to Him. Thank our God for all the blessings for us to enjoy and trials for us to strengthen our faith to Him. There are many things that I've learned from my first semester and those were only few but the most important. My first semester life is full of hardships but I was very happy and contented with it because I know God has a purpose on doing so. :D That's all.
